Stephen Chua promoted at Citi Transaction Services

Citi Transaction Services announced the appointment of Stephen Chua as regional trade services head for Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for the trade services business for the region. He is also responsible for the trade product suite of the bank services group segment in the region.

“Stephen brings more than 25 years of valuable banking experience across consumer, corporate banking, corporate finance and debt restructuring, in addition to his vast experiences in transaction services, which for the last 12 years have been dedicated to trade. We look forward to his leadership as we continue to build out our trade presence and provide market-leading solutions to our clients in this region,” said Sanjay Tandon, regional head pf trade in Asia Pacific for Citi Transaction Services.

Chua started his career with Citi in 1990 in the consumer bank, working as a relationship manager for CitiGold and CitiBusiness. He created and managed the Asia Trade Hub Singapore, “which continues to be a pivotal point for trade transaction routing and financing,” said a release from Citi.
